Compromise with the other side to get important legislation passed? Reagan knew how to pull that off. Bush doesn't. McCain's past record show me that he is leaning towards Reagan, but all of his rhetoric while running for president is firmly in the Bush camp. Thankfully, both before and during the election Obama has shown himself to be willing to be flexible and willing to compromise in order to pass important legislation.
